信号完整性分析对于连接器来说非常重要,我们给客户做的分析很多,很多客户关心我们会提供怎样的报告,其实这个跟客户的要求相关,今天我们提供一个比较完整的例子。

附件PDF是HIROSE ELECTRIC公司对其自身产品IT3 Mezzanine Connector进行SI分析后的完整分析报告,仅供参考。

报告包括了常规的ICR(insertion loss to cross talk ratio串扰比),insertion loss (IL插损), return loss (RL回损或反射),FEXT,NEXT等

也提供时域电压信号,眼图等,这些必不可少的,这些都是软件仿真的结果。

The IT3 series is a high-speed mezzanine connector that is proven to work up to 20+ Gbps in atelecom environment. Its innovative three-piece design allows customers to easily adjust the stackheight from 15 mm to 40 mm without changing the footprint or layout in their printed circuit boards.In the following sections, we will describe the IT3 geometry and the signal integrity analysisresults for the 17mm stack height. The signal integrity results include the S parameters, TDR andTDT waveforms, and eye diagrams.The IT3-17mm connector complies with the IEEE 802.3ap spec for return loss (RL) andinsertion loss to cross-talk ratio (ICR) to 20+ GHz, and introduces small timing jitter end eye heightattenuation
